Terry Janke

Terry has been a pastor of three Canadian churches. Most recently, he led Whyte Ridge Baptist Church in Winnipeg (2009 – 2024).

Prior to that, he and his wife Patricia (Pat) served at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Cochabamba, Bolivia (2002 – 2009) where they developed a Spiritual Formation program among the students.

Terry and Pat have three adult children: Emily, Joel and Jonathan, and four grandchildren.

Tragically, Patricia passed away in June 2024 of colon cancer, leading Terry and the family into a new season of change which has served to prove God’s faithfulness and grow their faith.

Terry’s happy place is a cabin at Blindfold Lake near Kenora, where he spends time with family & friends, as well as his new Golden Retriever puppy named Maple.
