Summer Ministry Student Award

Thinking about serving in ministry this summer? The Summer Ministry Student Award Program is designed for students at Grant Church who want to step into full-time ministry opportunities. Receive financial support to help you serve well this summer and return to school or your vocation in the fall with greater ease.

Applications for Summer 2026 will be accepted until August 1, 2026 or until all funds are depleted.

AWARD OFFER

If approved, students will receive $100 per week of full-time ministry.

Awards are given on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are depleted.

The award is available for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks
(May–August).

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS

Disbursement of Funds

● Award cheques will be mailed after August 15.
● Funds will be sent directly to the host ministry or the educational institution.

Please note: Funding levels are subject to change.

To qualify, students must:

● Have completed grade 9 up to the age of 25.

● Confirm that their host ministry or educational institution can accept the bursary funds from Grant Church and distribute them to the student.

● Serve full-time hours each week with their host ministry organization.

● Regularly attend Grant Church.

● Share their ministry experience with the church in the fall, which may include:

○ Speaking at a GO Lunch (after church)

○ Providing a video testimony

○ Writing a letter of thanks to the congregation
