Tamara serves as the Assistant Property Manager, where she helps oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the building and campus property for both Grant Church and Linden Christian School. She manages the property team, coordinates daily setups and takedowns, and oversees ongoing maintenance across the building and grounds. Her role is highly hands-on and diverse, ranging from painting and repairs to shovelling snow (even from the roof), problem solving, and team coordination. She enjoys the variety her work brings, knowing that every day presents new challenges and opportunities to broaden her knowledge and skills. Her lack of fear of heights has also come in handy for some of the more unexpected jobs that come her way. Born and raised Hungarian, Tamara enjoys spending her free time playing board games, painting, building things, listening to music, and reading. At home, she especially loves the antics of her six ferrets—Finney, Balin, Turtle, Bubbles, Cinna, and Mittens. Over the years, she has cared for a total of fourteen ferrets, and they continue to bring plenty of fun and mischief to her home. She loves serving in her role at Grant Church because it allows her to work with her hands, stay active, and continuously grow in her faith. She particularly loves to serve God behind the scenes so that ultimately Jesus will be glorified and the ministry staff can focus on serving others in Jesus’ name.
