Joyce serves as a Food Prep Server at Grant Café. In this role, Joyce prepares and serves meals to both kids and adults, and she loves being able to welcome people with kindness so they can feel the love of Christ through simple acts of service. For Joyce, it’s more than just preparing food—it’s about creating a warm and caring space where people feel valued and at home.
Joyce is originally from the Philippines and moved to Canada in 2015 after marrying her husband, Gene. While Joyce’s family is still abroad and very close to her heart, she has been blessed to find a wonderful church family at Grant. Serving here means so much to her because it truly feels like home. Outside of work, Joyce enjoys trying different foods and spending time with her two cats, Tika and Tigra, who always bring a little extra joy to her day.
