As the Digital Communities Assistant, Jose uses his love for art and design to serve Grant Church by creating digital and print designs that inform, inspire, and engage our faith community.
In his free time, Jose enjoys learning about art and ancient history and how faith in Christ speaks to those areas in the past and the present.
Being a lifelong Winnipegger, Jose likes to ride his bike and find new and hidden gems of Winnipeg’s creative history, whether in culture, architecture, or nature.
Jose has studied Fine Art, Graphic Design, Video, and Motion Graphics. His favourite artists are Genndy Tartakovsky and Fernando Llort, as well as art from the silver age of comics and Rubber hose art.
